First time ive tried Match . Did a lot reading up before I bought . Very pleased with its colour and tast .

I just received this matcha selection. I tried it this morning with 2 grams of matcha and 50 ml hot water as usucha.

It is a smooth matcha with a light grassiness and a little astringency.

It has no awful bitterness like many lower grade matchas.

I like the smooth quality that it imparts but it is lacking character.. No umami at all.

This matcha is a “selection “ or blend I assume because the don’t state that.

Lacking character but smooth!!!!!
