Very well-made hand-crafted, delicate matcha product. Well packaged in tin and really high quality. When you open the box. There is a sealed bag with the matcha powder. So the product is staying fresh until opening. We carefully and slowly moved the powder into the box itself and it filled up 3/4 of the tin. The matcha has a soft and refined smell and dissolves well in water or milk. The taste is strong but not overpowering. Great quality
I have been a regular buyer of this specific barista grade matcha since 2025 summer. This is a superior grade matcha with full of umami and natural flavour. Colour is dep green and makes creamy thick lattes. I use around 3-3.5 gram per latte serving.
It's a good-tasting Matcha with different taste profile than the ones I have been trying. I found this to be a very good value for the price as the one I buy from Japan is very expensive and delivery takes longer. I've had better matcha and I've had worse, but this is fine and you get a lot of servings out of it. Mine got delivered in 2 days.
I have been using this matcha for past 8 months now. This is probably my 15 tin and it tastes exactly the same.

Please enjoy this matcha with hot water than making lattes to indulge in Umami
Great matcha & super product. I blended it with homemade oatmilk and warmed it up and it was frosty and delicious.
This is excellent quality finer grade matcha! It's not bitter and mixes very well. I'm not a huge matcha fan but this one changed my mind!
The Imperial ceremonial grade is the way to go.
My new favourite ceremonial matcha powder! I love it so much, it tastes amazing, silky smooth texture especially when foamed, and smells so good it reminds me of the matcha I've had in Kyoto Japan. It mixes easily and very well when whisked. The green colour is beautiful compared to cheaper matcha's that I've tried are more dull. It's sealed well, so it stays fresh when you get it. While it's a small amount a little goes a long way you can definitely have quite a few matcha drinks before needing to buy again. Worth the price as quality matcha is expensive.
One of the best matcha powders available in the UK. I've tried several matcha powders, and this one is the one I go back to. This match is not full-bodied as it's from a single cultivar but it has more umami compared to other matcha's on shelf. P
This is top quality ceremonial matcha. My wife and I have tried many matcha throughout the years and we would recommend this one. No bitterness and balanced umami flavor.
This is indeed a top-quality ceremonial matcha. It foams up so well too. I will say though, it is very potent and strong. So if you don’t like the bitterness of matcha this one might be too much…But overall this is good
Smooth, rich luxury level flavor - no bitterness at all.
Really good, good quality. Expensive though but you get 1kg for the price which gives almost 350 latte portions
My absolutely fav matcha. highly recommended even if youre just a beginner. Do try on it's own with hot water for optimum notes

WHAT IS MATCHA GREEN TEA?
Matcha is a finely ground Green Tea powder made from the young and nutrient rich leaves of the tea plant. The tea dates back to the 8th century, when it was originally used in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. Unlike most teas, with matcha, you're not drinking a tea-infused water-based concoction, you're actually consuming tea leaves in a powdered form.
HOW TO MAKE MATCHA GREEN TEA?
-
1/4 teaspoon of matcha
-
Add warm water & stir
-
Top up with hot water
MATCHA GREEN TEA BENEFITS
ANTIOXIDANT POWERHOUSE
When you consume matcha powder, you get all the nutrients from the entire leaf. It tends to have more antioxidants than simply steeping green tea leaves in water.Matcha green tea being very rich in antioxidants, nutritionists believe it gives metabolic boost and keeps us hydrated.

LOADED WITH CATECHIN, EGCg
Not all antioxidants are created equal. Green tea contains a specific set of organic compounds known as catechins. Among antioxidants, catechins are the most potent. The powdering process of making matcha increases the catechin contents, especially EGCG.

CLEANSE & DETOX
Matcha comes from the same plant that produces both black and green tea. But it comes down to how the plant is grown and the processes after the tea leaves have been picked. Unlike other teas, to produce Matcha, the leaves grow in the shade in the final month of growth. Shade growing causes a tremendous increase in chlorophyll and L-theanine production in Matcha. The resulting high levels of chlorophyll which aids detox and give this tea its beautiful vibrant green color.
ENERGY LEVELS & ENDURANCE
Matcha contains half the amount of caffine as a espresso, but it works differently to the caffeine from the coffee. Matcha contains distinctive amino acid called -theanine, which is a slow release caffeine and produces calm energy boost as opposed to the caffeine spike rom coffee which gives jitters.
