Bought as an alternative to my previous Ceremonial matcha which then became unavailable. Good value as I bought two and got two free. Thanks.
great quality matcha at an amazing price!! i’ve been using it for my daily matcha lattes and they come out fantastic everytime ☺️
This is a pretty good matcha. It's not the strongest that I've had tasted, but it's great elevation to your everyday latte. You still definitely have the matcha taste within your drink where it won't get lost once you start added other ingredients like milk, syrups,etc... to your drink. You can also drink it by itself where it's not too bitter to do so.
1. What made you choose our Heapwell Saemidori Ceremonial matcha? The taste is very well balanced and the blends quite well. Creamy, delicious and definitely my go-to matcha brand now, especially for making vibrant super matcha lattes! I have been drinking matcha for about 7 years now, and after trying a few brands, I am glad I tried Heapwell Saemidori Matcha. I will certainly recommend it to everyone I know who drinks matcha!
2. How are you using it (matcha latte, tea, baking, café)? Mainly for matcha Lattes and sometimes to make matcha macchiatos.
3. How would you describe the flavour and colour? This matcha is deep green in colour, showing a proper shade-grown process.
4. What results or differences have you noticed? Keeps me away from yawning, making it easy to focus, especially after lunchtime.
Smooth matcha
1. What made you choose our Heapwell Tenmyo Uji matcha? Limited edition matcha which comes from uji. There are not many Japanese Uji matcha's available in market these days. I found this and grabbed it.
2. How are you using it (matcha latte, tea, baking, café)? Matcha Latte and Tea. Sometimes I use to make cookies.
3. How would you describe the flavour and colour? In terms of flovour I can say this one has balanced umami and strong. Colour has been the greenest ever
4. What results or difference have you noticed? Works best as coffee replacement for regulated caffeine boost.
1. What made you choose our Heapwell Saemidori Ceremonial matcha? I have been buying this matcha since 2021 and have never looked back or even bothered to try other brand. Quality has been consistent throught these years which is commendable.
2. How are you using it (matcha latte, tea, baking, café)? Matcha latte
3. How would you describe the flavour and colour? Notes of dates and has deep lovely green colour which no other matcha brands at this price range has ever achieved in my opinion.
4. What results or difference have you noticed? So far helping my gut health but that mainly when I have it, just with warm water.
1. What made you choose our Heapwell Tenmyo Uji matcha? Unique rare cultivar
2. How are you using it (matcha latte, tea, baking, café)? Usucha, Matcha latte. Although I must admit this matcha makes the best matcha latte. There is just not comparison in terms of flavour. Clear winner.
3. How would you describe the flavour and colour? Complex and fully packed with vegetal & floral notes.
4. What results or difference have you noticed? In terms of alertness this has been the most effective matcha. I have my matcha usucha in the morning and an iced lattepost lunch around 3pm. Total game changer
Smooth flavour, nice vivid deep green colour. Lots of microfoam and great for matcha lattes! Do use 3g per latte serving.
My fourth time buying heapwell matcha. I absolutely love it. Not too bitter, bright rich green color. Actually makes me feel energized without the sluggish feeling caffeine usually gives me. Will continue to keep getting this

WHAT IS MATCHA GREEN TEA?
Matcha is a finely ground Green Tea powder made from the young and nutrient rich leaves of the tea plant. The tea dates back to the 8th century, when it was originally used in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. Unlike most teas, with matcha, you're not drinking a tea-infused water-based concoction, you're actually consuming tea leaves in a powdered form.
HOW TO MAKE MATCHA GREEN TEA?
-
1/4 teaspoon of matcha
-
Add warm water & stir
-
Top up with hot water
MATCHA GREEN TEA BENEFITS
ANTIOXIDANT POWERHOUSE
When you consume matcha powder, you get all the nutrients from the entire leaf. It tends to have more antioxidants than simply steeping green tea leaves in water.Matcha green tea being very rich in antioxidants, nutritionists believe it gives metabolic boost and keeps us hydrated.

LOADED WITH CATECHIN, EGCg
Not all antioxidants are created equal. Green tea contains a specific set of organic compounds known as catechins. Among antioxidants, catechins are the most potent. The powdering process of making matcha increases the catechin contents, especially EGCG.

CLEANSE & DETOX
Matcha comes from the same plant that produces both black and green tea. But it comes down to how the plant is grown and the processes after the tea leaves have been picked. Unlike other teas, to produce Matcha, the leaves grow in the shade in the final month of growth. Shade growing causes a tremendous increase in chlorophyll and L-theanine production in Matcha. The resulting high levels of chlorophyll which aids detox and give this tea its beautiful vibrant green color.
ENERGY LEVELS & ENDURANCE
Matcha contains half the amount of caffine as a espresso, but it works differently to the caffeine from the coffee. Matcha contains distinctive amino acid called -theanine, which is a slow release caffeine and produces calm energy boost as opposed to the caffeine spike rom coffee which gives jitters.
