This is genuinely one of the best matcha on the market. It is in the pricier side but the quality is worth the price and you get 2 tins for the price of one. Ideal use would be to make lattes.
We are a barista. This is a good quality matcha for the price and the purpose of making matcha lattes
Did the colour match your expectations? 100% Yes
Did the matcha clump or whisk smoothly? No. As I always use a sieve to sift matcha.
Any bitterness? Slight astringency. But this is the matcha profile.
How many servings have you made so far with this pack? 350 matcha latte servings per 1kg barista pack. I use 3g per matcha latte serving.
Have you tried making matcha lattes? I use this matcha specifically for matcha lattes
Did the colour match your expectations? Yes, but slightly less green than Heapwell Kotobuki. But I use this primarily for lattes so no bother.
Did the matcha clump or whisk smoothly? No. As I always use a sieve to sift matcha.
Any bitterness? Slight astringency, but I believe that is part of the matcha profile of this cultivar blend

Really good quality matcha for the price! Tastes lovely for a lattes. You're not getting the absolute highest quality but it is very very good, a lovely green colour and tastes better than most you get on the high street cafes and restaurants. Always add 3 grams for per latte serving.
This matcha is of high quality . I’ve ordered it on a number of occasions and it always arrives when or before stated, which is very unusual when living in Gibraltar. I’d definitely reorder.
Quantity 4/5
Taste smooth and easy
Excellent quality matcha with a good flavour. Mixes well for lattes and drinks. Well balanced umami makes lattes great awesome.
It tastes really creamy and no bitter taste at all.
Beautiful & affordable high quality matcha! I got this matcha on buy one get one free.
Amazing quality and price !! After using other brands- I feel like this was the best choice to start with. Good strong flavour which makes gorgeous green lattes.
Clean and smooth taste. Colour is quite decent considering it's organic but flavour is top notch.
This is my 8th pack on subscription. Colour is bright green, taste is mellow but packed with several vegetal notes. you can easily get 350 servings of lattes. Most suitable for cafes and restaurants but can be used at home cafe setup as well.
Very smooth and beautiful green color will purchase for my everyday lattes! I make oatmilk matcha lattes with this ceremonial matcha
This is definitely the greenest matcha I have ever seen. You can certainly make lattes but I prefer to drink this with water.

WHAT IS MATCHA GREEN TEA?
Matcha is a finely ground Green Tea powder made from the young and nutrient rich leaves of the tea plant. The tea dates back to the 8th century, when it was originally used in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. Unlike most teas, with matcha, you're not drinking a tea-infused water-based concoction, you're actually consuming tea leaves in a powdered form.
HOW TO MAKE MATCHA GREEN TEA?
-
1/4 teaspoon of matcha
-
Add warm water & stir
-
Top up with hot water
MATCHA GREEN TEA BENEFITS
ANTIOXIDANT POWERHOUSE
When you consume matcha powder, you get all the nutrients from the entire leaf. It tends to have more antioxidants than simply steeping green tea leaves in water.Matcha green tea being very rich in antioxidants, nutritionists believe it gives metabolic boost and keeps us hydrated.

LOADED WITH CATECHIN, EGCg
Not all antioxidants are created equal. Green tea contains a specific set of organic compounds known as catechins. Among antioxidants, catechins are the most potent. The powdering process of making matcha increases the catechin contents, especially EGCG.

CLEANSE & DETOX
Matcha comes from the same plant that produces both black and green tea. But it comes down to how the plant is grown and the processes after the tea leaves have been picked. Unlike other teas, to produce Matcha, the leaves grow in the shade in the final month of growth. Shade growing causes a tremendous increase in chlorophyll and L-theanine production in Matcha. The resulting high levels of chlorophyll which aids detox and give this tea its beautiful vibrant green color.
ENERGY LEVELS & ENDURANCE
Matcha contains half the amount of caffine as a espresso, but it works differently to the caffeine from the coffee. Matcha contains distinctive amino acid called -theanine, which is a slow release caffeine and produces calm energy boost as opposed to the caffeine spike rom coffee which gives jitters.
