Was not expecting much but surprisingly it’s really good matcha for the price. I use it to make matcha lattes and they taste better than those at the cafes! Will definitely buy again!
I’ve tried several ceremonial brands, but Heapwell’s imperial matcha stands out. It’s incredibly fresh with those classic grassy, umami notes you want in a high-quality matcha. It whisks easily and maintains its flavour profile perfectly with milk. Plus, the colour is just perfect!! If you get this, I definitely recommend pairing it with oat milk. It’s become my daily go-to for iced lattes and usucha.
Tried it in lattes and it tastes amazing. Super tasty, green and indeed of ceremonial grade. Definite full 5 stars as I will be purchasing again.
10/10 Matcha
Colour: Deep green colour
Flavour: Subtle yet complex
Preparation: Matcha Latte & Usucha
Aroma: Fresh matcha
Taste: Little nutty
This matcha is far far superior than any other ceremonial matcha available in the market. Pricing is quite fair considering it's of high ceremonial grade.
This is my second purchase in a week. Price is reasonable and got a bamboo spoon along with it.
Beautiful green colour. Taste is bold & fantastic. Would buy again.
Great taste the colour of matcha is proper green that mean it very good quality
Nice vibrant colour of fresh green
I've been drinking Matcha tea.for a while now and have one cup every day. It is expensive, but think it is worth it.
Definitely purchase it again, but next time I will try Kotobuki
This is my first and favourite matcha, its flavour is so rich, I will definitely purchase it again! Do try their Saemidori matcha as well, which came free as a sample
It’s the best I’ve tasted!
I received 2 tins of this ceremonial matcha for my birthday and ordered 2 more for my latte stocks. It’s the best I’ve tasted!
Heapwell tenmyo matcha is a very unique blend. It’s smooth and complex at the same time with full of umami and notes which you can only get from Uji cultivar. Hands down there is no other matcha that can come anywhere close to this one.
This is an amazing matcha powder!! My favorite so far!! Please use sparingly as you don’t need more than 3 grams per latte serving.

WHAT IS MATCHA GREEN TEA?
Matcha is a finely ground Green Tea powder made from the young and nutrient rich leaves of the tea plant. The tea dates back to the 8th century, when it was originally used in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. Unlike most teas, with matcha, you're not drinking a tea-infused water-based concoction, you're actually consuming tea leaves in a powdered form.
HOW TO MAKE MATCHA GREEN TEA?
-
1/4 teaspoon of matcha
-
Add warm water & stir
-
Top up with hot water
MATCHA GREEN TEA BENEFITS
ANTIOXIDANT POWERHOUSE
When you consume matcha powder, you get all the nutrients from the entire leaf. It tends to have more antioxidants than simply steeping green tea leaves in water.Matcha green tea being very rich in antioxidants, nutritionists believe it gives metabolic boost and keeps us hydrated.

LOADED WITH CATECHIN, EGCg
Not all antioxidants are created equal. Green tea contains a specific set of organic compounds known as catechins. Among antioxidants, catechins are the most potent. The powdering process of making matcha increases the catechin contents, especially EGCG.

CLEANSE & DETOX
Matcha comes from the same plant that produces both black and green tea. But it comes down to how the plant is grown and the processes after the tea leaves have been picked. Unlike other teas, to produce Matcha, the leaves grow in the shade in the final month of growth. Shade growing causes a tremendous increase in chlorophyll and L-theanine production in Matcha. The resulting high levels of chlorophyll which aids detox and give this tea its beautiful vibrant green color.
ENERGY LEVELS & ENDURANCE
Matcha contains half the amount of caffine as a espresso, but it works differently to the caffeine from the coffee. Matcha contains distinctive amino acid called -theanine, which is a slow release caffeine and produces calm energy boost as opposed to the caffeine spike rom coffee which gives jitters.
