I am new to matcha tea so was unsure what it would be like. The kit arrived pretty quickly.
The spoon is excellent quality and very solid.
The whisk is great and mixes the powder very well. The powder itself blends into the liquid with no lumps or grainy bits.
I find the taste a little too strong with just water and add a little milk. Its also nice made as a latte with all milk.
I will definitely repeat the matcha tea order from this company.

The taste profile is definitely rich, creamy and smooth. Normally, I would add 1 teaspoon of agave syrup to increase the sweetness, but with this matcha, I didn’t need to. I’ve also sipped the matcha directly after whisking, and it had no bitter taste at all. My wooden whisk has been doing the trick to blend the matcha well before pouring it over the milk. Overall classy matcha.
Overall, I would recommend this, especially getting the larger size if you are a daily latte drinker

This is matcha is pretty good, in terms of quality, price and taste. The matcha powder blends well too as I always use a sift to break the clumps. The taste is more subtle, light and refreshing. I think it’s good for an everyday matcha latte or usucha.

It’s naturally sweet, good consistency, and very tasty.

Really impressed with this matcha powder! This is smooth, fresh, and not bitter at all. It has a nice, vibrant colour when whisked and feels high-quality compared to others I’ve tried. I’ve been enjoying it iced, and it gives a nice boost without strong jitters.

It’s worth the money, highly recommended if you’re going for good quality. Good energy booster, my new favorite.

This wonderful matcha exceeded my expectations! Rich flavour and noticeable caffeine effect. Vibrant lush green and loose consistent texture but still rich and not too dry. Excellent alternative to other high quality match brands. Been subscribed for almost a year now. Excellent as a traditional hot match or mixed in with smoothies and lattes.

I managed to get 400 servings in this 1kg pack. Total value for money. The colour is simply great. Tip: Do not add boiling water to matcha and make sure it is around 75-80 Celcius

It was such a lovely experience and I recommend this finest matcha to everyone. The taste is smooth and sweet. Perfect for usucha, Koicha and also for lattes.

We’ve been using Heapwell for a year now at our cafe in Soho London. Supreme quality, really potent and smooth to use as a latte base, stand-alone or matcha based products. Very well received by our customers!

I have been using this matcha powder in my cafe to make matcha cheese cake.

I have used Heapwell ceremonial matcha with Latte, desserts & cakes, it has a unique, lovely flavour which is completely different from other matchas available. I'm happy with this product and will recommend it to my friends & family for sure.

This is my second purchase of Heapwell Matcha tea and I love it. I have an oat milk latte everyday and I look forward to it. Its absolutely delicious, full of flavour and the colour is simply gorgeous. The is the best matcha hands down.

When I was researching best matchas, I saw that Kyoto was one of the top locations to get the best matcha. This product and brand came up in my search too, and I decided to try it. I'm glad I did. The matcha blended easily with the hot water, and the texture was silky smooth.

Great price for the size and taste. It’s a lovely, vibrant green and not bitter- perfect for matcha lattes.

WHAT IS MATCHA GREEN TEA?
Matcha is a finely ground Green Tea powder made from the young and nutrient rich leaves of the tea plant. The tea dates back to the 8th century, when it was originally used in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. Unlike most teas, with matcha, you're not drinking a tea-infused water-based concoction, you're actually consuming tea leaves in a powdered form.
HOW TO MAKE MATCHA GREEN TEA?
-
1/4 teaspoon of matcha
-
Add warm water & stir
-
Top up with hot water

LOADED WITH CATECHIN, EGCg
Not all antioxidants are created equal. Green tea contains a specific set of organic compounds known as catechins. Among antioxidants, catechins are the most potent. The powdering process of making matcha increases the catechin contents, especially EGCG.

CLEANSE & DETOX
Matcha comes from the same plant that produces both black and green tea. But it comes down to how the plant is grown and the processes after the tea leaves have been picked. Unlike other teas, to produce Matcha, the leaves grow in the shade in the final month of growth. Shade growing causes a tremendous increase in chlorophyll and L-theanine production in Matcha. The resulting high levels of chlorophyll which aids detox and give this tea its beautiful vibrant green color.
ENERGY LEVELS & ENDURANCE
Matcha contains half the amount of caffine as a espresso, but it works differently to the caffeine from the coffee. Matcha contains distinctive amino acid called -theanine, which is a slow release caffeine and produces calm energy boost as opposed to the caffeine spike rom coffee which gives jitters.
