Really impressed with this Uji-matcha powder! The flavour is smooth, creamy, fresh, and not bitter at all. It has a nice, vibrant colour when whisked and feels high quality compared to others I’ve tried. Hope this matcha is available all the time, as it's a limited edition.

This wonderful matcha meets expectations! Rich flavour and noticeable caffeine effect but not too much. Vibrant lovely green and loose consistent texture but still rich and not too dry. Excellent alternative to other high quality match brands. Been subscribed for almost a year now.

Unique taste for this unique blend. This is indeed my favourite matcha for my personal use. Although I need to add one extra spoon for a slightly stronger flavour.

Brilliant grade matcha. Got delivered in 2 days straight to my cafe. This is my regular purchase.

Loved this Tenmyo cultivar matcha, I'm going to be buying this matcha as my everyday drink. Vibrant green colour and sweet taste.

Great quality at a good price. Creamy with a high level of umami, more vegetal than floral, similar to kyoto tea varieties with a good balance of rounded sweetness. Dissolves and blends well in the cup. Have already ordered more

Very high-end delicious matcha with bright green colour.

Ideal matcha for making your own matcha at home. Full of flavour with specialty Uji Matcha cultivar.

Outstanding quality. Much better than the other brands i have tried! Pricing is ideal for Uji matcha.

Recommended for special use. Very good quality especially for Koicha. Best Uji matcha ever.

Great product and price

I had been searching for ceremonial grade matcha that tastes good, for month. Ordered from several online shops. Most went to the bin. Finally, I thought, the search ended, when I found a good product, just to notice they couldn't deliver when I needed the next batch.
When I saw this product, it looked promising. So did many others before, so I held back the anticipation. Such a pleasant and smooth taste! The product arrived quickly and really well packaged, and it is, so far, the best tasting matcha I had.
I stopped drinking coffee years ago, and matcha could replace it seamlessly without the jitters or the early afternoon crash. It energises me all day long, not to mention the added health benefits of the L-theanine.
A great product. I truly hope I found a long-term supplier.

Have been using this matcha in all our cafe desserts and lattes. This is the highest quality matcha that I have ever come across. Just look at the colour of our lattes and cakes.

This Tenmyo Uji Matcha is the top of the line stuff. You will not be able to drink other matcha after purchasing this. It is so incredibly smooth, with slight sweetness to it. There’s a reason it sells out immediately. Thanks for delivering 3 tins in less than 24 hours.

WHAT IS MATCHA GREEN TEA?
Matcha is a finely ground Green Tea powder made from the young and nutrient rich leaves of the tea plant. The tea dates back to the 8th century, when it was originally used in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. Unlike most teas, with matcha, you're not drinking a tea-infused water-based concoction, you're actually consuming tea leaves in a powdered form.
HOW TO MAKE MATCHA GREEN TEA?
-
1/4 teaspoon of matcha
-
Add warm water & stir
-
Top up with hot water
MATCHA GREEN TEA BENEFITS
ANTIOXIDANT POWERHOUSE
When you consume matcha powder, you get all the nutrients from the entire leaf. It tends to have more antioxidants than simply steeping green tea leaves in water.Matcha green tea being very rich in antioxidants, nutritionists believe it gives metabolic boost and keeps us hydrated.

LOADED WITH CATECHIN, EGCg
Not all antioxidants are created equal. Green tea contains a specific set of organic compounds known as catechins. Among antioxidants, catechins are the most potent. The powdering process of making matcha increases the catechin contents, especially EGCG.

CLEANSE & DETOX
Matcha comes from the same plant that produces both black and green tea. But it comes down to how the plant is grown and the processes after the tea leaves have been picked. Unlike other teas, to produce Matcha, the leaves grow in the shade in the final month of growth. Shade growing causes a tremendous increase in chlorophyll and L-theanine production in Matcha. The resulting high levels of chlorophyll which aids detox and give this tea its beautiful vibrant green color.
ENERGY LEVELS & ENDURANCE
Matcha contains half the amount of caffine as a espresso, but it works differently to the caffeine from the coffee. Matcha contains distinctive amino acid called -theanine, which is a slow release caffeine and produces calm energy boost as opposed to the caffeine spike rom coffee which gives jitters.
